62 Johnson speeditwin ignition wiring

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help with some wire identification. I have a 62 Johnson speeditwin 28hp. I have a green wire,red wire,white wire and 2 black wires(ground). I jus got the engine and it has no ignition switch. Just need to know where they go on the switch. Thanks

The black wires are not "ground". They go to the ignition coils to stop the motor. One each goes to the two "M" terminals on the switch (doesn't matter which is which

Green wire goes to "B" or "Bat"

White wire goes to "S" or "Start"

Red wire goes to "C" or "Choke".....If your switch has one. Otherwise, you need a push button choke switch. Run the red wire to it, and a jumper wire from the green "B" terminal on the key switch.
