White Plastic Film on CDI power pack SHIELD, remove it or leave it ?

I ordered a new CDI power pack and it comes with a thick plastic film over the RF shield. Was wondering what's it for and should I remove prior to installing. Thanks.

I don't think the white film will hurt anything if you leave on but taking it off probably would not hurt either. Never seen that one before. Maybe someone else has??

Can't tell you what it is for, but I left it on and am running great.
