1994 johnson 50/35 jet no spark

no spark on either cylinder - here is what i tested so far.

removed killswitch wire with no gain in spark.

brown and brown/yellow wire together produced 155 - 160volts.

orange and orange black wires - powerpack hooked up 5.5v. powerpack unhooked and meter hooked up to stator plug - 80v (big difference)


from the powerpack to coil plugs -
orange/blue to blue was 126 ohms
orange/green to green was 5.7 ohms. (big difference)


these test following the cdi guide lead me to believe the powerpack is the problem. Any thoughts or comments? thanks

What kind of a meter are you using ??

standard multimeter... figured that was the "dva non connected" ranges. basically just took the highest consistant number i got over a period of 5 seconds or so.
