I took boat out for first time in 2 years. I have a 19ft Javelin with an 89 Johnson GT 200. Replaced plugs before use. Started motor, ran great. Let it idle and warm up for a good amount of time, probably 20 min. Got boat on plane, engine alarm went off, motor was still spitting water. Turned motor off and let sit for a few minutes. When I turned key, nothing happened. No power to motor and lost all trim functions on motor and shift lever. Motor does not click and trim does not click. Nothing. Battery is new and charged. Checked main fuse on motor, I have power there. I have power going to starter solenoid. Need help!!

check for power at the small wire on the solenoid while the key is turned if you have power there then the solenoid is not letting power to pass through. replace solenoid.

When I turn the key. I get nothing from the yellow and red wire. Will that affect the trim also?
