Greetings!
Put my 15 in the tank and she fired right up after hanging in the garage all winter. The tell-tale was indicating just fine for a few minutes and it gradually diminished...then I started getting steam....shut down! Tried the twist tie trick up the tell tale...then compresses air. Both seemed to help for a minute or two but ended up with the same steamy result. I put a new water pump kit in last summer so the impeller is good. Next I tried the ear muffs.....and the problem went away...nice strong jet of warm water. So it appears that the force of the water in the hose is helping supplying enough pressure to get water into the head. Has anyone had this same issue before? What did you do about it? I fear I'll have to pull the head and check where the water tube goes in to the exhaust horn....
Any sage words of advice will be appreciated!
