Could someone tell me how to remove the water inlet plug and screen so I can check to see if it is plugged in there. Still trying to resolve my no water pumping issue?

There is a plug in the end.-Drill and tap that so you can pull it out.-Screen slides out.----------I drill and tap the hole and put a set screw in afterwards. Others will have a different idea.
