I have a 85 Johnson 120 looper that has plastic carbs, the carbs are warped especially at the float bowls.

I picked up a 92 Johnson 120 looper an the plastic carbs seem to be straight. The only difference I see between the 2 is the shape of the side metal plates an on the bottom of the carb assembly mine has brass holes an the 92 motor has the same holes but no brass orficaces just the holes there (not talking about the float bowl area, just above that on very bottom face of the carbs)

Yes the carbs are different part numbers from each other but they even mount on my throttle bodies so anyone have experience with this swap an will this work?

Again reason why I'm doing this is cause not only are my float bowls warped but the plastic body that mounts to the metal throttle body seems to be warped.

Thanks

don't over tighten, that's what helps cause those problems, JMO.
