Hi,

For my kids safety,I want to install a emergency kill switch on a 1983 7.5hp Johnson. Do i need a NC or NO switch? Presently the tiller switch isn't working.

Thanks

Re: Emergency Kill switch

I'd rather have an emergency witch with a laynard. Would i need a NO or NC switch and how does it get installed??

Re: Emergency Kill switch

killing usually means... grounding someting out momentarely so NORMALLY OPEN is required

you can do the test manually anyway by touching or separarating the wires involved.

that will tell you the answer for sure !
