Best thing to do is get an OMC factory service manual. You'll use that for other probs on the motor also.

Fixed jets on that so very easy.
Make sure the spark advance isnt too far advanced at max setting or you will burn up your pistons

Perhaps there is an issue with the engine.------No amount of adjusting will correct for a motor that is in poor condition,--------First do a compression test.-----Then check to make sure you have spark that jumps a 3/8" gap on all leads.------If those are good THEN look into adjustments.
