Hey guys, I am fairly new to the forum. About a week ago I removed the my Johnson 9.9 4 stroke from the basement and set it on the boat, after an hour of trying to get it to start and cleaning the plugs and carb, it just wouldn't start. It ran perfect last summer. I accidently took off the timing belt not realizing that it was the timing belt and now the timing is completely off and I have no idea how to re-time it I have searched the internet for hours with no luck, I have a lot of experience with car engines but when it comes to boats and carburetors im kinda lost. I also noticed a small crack in the timing belt and I was wondering where I could get a replacement....

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Cheers!!!

Right here on I-Boats, but get the Ken Cook one.

It's a book that you get from I-Boats. Try that down load you found and see what happens.
