points to cdi conversion on a 25 hp

I got a 25hp 74 sporter rude that is in excellent shape. but cant get it running smooth, new points condensers, etc.

Now I have a donor motor 84 20hp WITH A GOOD IGNITION SYSTEN CAN I SWAP HESE OUT TO THE 74? Is the cam follower in the way? is the crank shaft the same size to interchange the fly wheel?

No can do. Different size crankshaft taper....
