do you have water in your gear oil? might just be 2 stroke oil from the fuel from your exhaust, which is normal

When i changed the gear oil a couple weeks ago it was definitely milky colored but that oil could have been in there for 30 years for all i know, i will drain a little out and see if it still looks new, i didnt realize 2 stroke oil turned milky colored like that. Thanks for the reply!

Any question about the G/C oil, have the G/C pressure tested.

It turns milky when water is introduced to the oil. You may have to reseal it......
