1998 Ficht Evinrude 90 lower unit won't come off

I have a 1998 Evinrude Ficht 90 model E90FPLEEC. My problem is that the prop shaft is bent and the lower unit will not come free. I have the Seloc repair manual and have followed the instructions to the letter including disconnecting the shift rod. It seems as if it is holding in the driveshaft area. Has anyone had this problem or have any ideas as to what is going on?

Have you got the bolt under the trim tab out ??

I have it seems as if maybe the drive shaft is stuck, the back of the gear case has about an 1/8th inch gap

Give it a couple good bumps once with a big rubber mallet. Don't hit it on the anti-vent plate.
