2004 johnson 115 saltwater series just took carbs off cause my motor wasn't idling and barely starting. at high rpms it's fine , but why would it run fine at high rpms if the float bowls are cracked all four are cracked and warped . One float was way higher then the others and I even found a silver fish in one carb. Any how replacing all this will hopefully help regain an idle any thoughts?

go through the carbs, make sure they are spotless, the carb kits have new side cover gaskets also. When replacing the bowls(433000) follow the torque spec and tightening pattern as stated in your svc. manuel .

ha a silver fish, hope he was still alive.
If you have a fish in there you really need to check all the jets orifices are clear and spotless as above. Especially the small hole idle channels

Be sure to run a fine wire up the idle tube that goes down in the bowl of the carb.
