2004 25hp Johson tiller to Remote Converson

I want to convert this motor to remote steering and throttle, it looks like it's set up for it minus adapters on the engine for the cables, what parts do I need, my searches aren't coming up with anything for this motor, thanks in advance for your help.

That would be a Remote Control Adapter kit.

I bought this same kit for my 1992 20HP years back.
Worked great!

One more notable thing,
Not all engines came with the built in steering-tube (or tilt-tube as some call it)
If yours did not, you'll have to get a transom mounted tube bracket.
Some mount below the motor, others off to the side, and some to the splash-well.

I have pictures of this kit installed on my motor somewhere if you'd like to see it.

I would use that best offer and cut the guys price in half.
He shouldn't be selling 10 year old parts packing for new over the counter prices.

When I bought my kit, it was somewhere around $78

I saved my tiller handle, shift lever, and all hardware, and would up ebaying the tiller kit for $100+
Thus, paying for the kit + a little.
Something to consider.

It does not. Only comes with shift and throttle stuff, and some stop switch parts too.

You should have a hole in the center of your steering (or stern) bracket.

A steering cable will thread into your tilt tube, on the other end you'll need one of those steering L -shaped bars and some hardware.

I'll look through my books when I get home and try to give you more exact details.
