1976 Johnson 70 Hp carb spring question

Over the weekend I decided to clean and rebuild my carbs for the motor. I did not take a picture of the carbs prior to taking them off the motor. When I removed the middle carb a spring fell off. The attached picture shows the spring. I cannot figure out where the spring goes. That is the last item I need to put back together.

Can anyone identify the spring and its proper location on the carb leakage?

thanks for the help

The purpose of that spring is to hold the choke flapper open at full throttle.--Someone will likely post a picture for you.

Thanks. I have been trying to find a picture of diagram to show its location. As soon as I see something I can get it back in place. Next time take pics before tearing apart.

thanks

Can someone provide a picture of this spring in the correct location? I have been searching through manuals and online photos and can't locate it.

thanks
