Re: 1955 Evinrude 15hp
You will need a new motor side connector, new fuel line, a single line tank and hose, a fuel pump, and if you are going with an aftermarket fuel pump like a Mikuni or Briggs, a barb that you tap into the bypass cover.
On that motor, do not modify the intake manifold like some online stuff will tell you to do. Simply leave a few inches of line on the old pressure line going from the intake manifold to the connector, and plug it with a bolt. No longer needed.
Now remove the bypass cover, drill and tap for the barb, and install. Re install bypass cover, find a way to mount the new pump, and plumb it. Swap connectors and you are done.
If you can find an OEM pump with an appropriate bypass cover, then all you have to do is swap bypass covers.
