1986 Evinrude 60 hp gearcase oil?

Just wondering what everyone used. Do i get the HPF-Pro or is there another brand just as good?

For my 150 Johny I just use Lubrimatic gear lube from Wally World for the last 25years and have not had any problems. Your choice.

The oil must say it is for marine applications. Automotive 80/90 won't cut it. The HPF pro is an excellent marine grade oil. The Merc High-Perf is also excellent. You just need to be sure the oil is a "hypoid" variety (will mix with a little water and still maintain lubrication properites.)
