Couple of questions I'm hoping someone has some knowledge on.

The warmup lever seems to engage itself slightly each time you go to full throttle and back down to idle... not to big of a deal, you just push it down sl;ightly and the rpms return to a normal idle. Anyone had this problem before? Easy to live with if no one has.

The second is there is like 0 throttle response in reverse. I installed new cables and have everything adjusted properly... just even at the controls there is not much "reverse" only goes back like an inch before the trottle will not go any further. Is this normal?

Sounds like you need to have a look inside the control box.

I had this problem with one of my 1975 135HP's about 2 years ago. Opened up the control box and found that the cam roller for the warm-up lever had fallen off. Additionally found that the detent spring and ball had fallen out (separate issue). Definitely open her up and take a look. Good time to clean it up and grease per manual.
