I am servicing a 2004 Johnson 15 HP (model J15R4SR) for a local non-profit organization and cannot find an online service manual for this model. I have the Operators guide and that is basically ?useless?!
Anyone know the gap settings for the plugs (NGK DCPR6E)? I have found several difference gap recommendations - .030, .031 and .035! What is correct?
Secondly, anyone know the recommended torque setting for the plugs? All I can find is generic 10-18 ft. lbs for aluminum heads for this thread size.
Lastly any recommendation for a good work shop manual as I also need to change the water pump?
Thanks for any help.
