1990 60hp evinrude....steering

Just got this motor and mounted it and installed new steering........steering is too loose.
Where do you tighten up on the motor so it has more resistance. Have looked all over
housing and cannot see the bolt/screw/nut. Thanks.

There is not much, at the engine end, that can be loose. I suspect the looseness is in your helm.

Are the nuts on the steering cable tight ??
