35hp Johnson tilt/trim

G-day

I'm just wondering if Johnson made a 35hp with a tilt. I know they did with the 40hp.
If not can the good 35 top end be placed on a good 40hp with the tilt.
I have a 1981 model and would like to tilt/trim if I can.
Yes ive seen the aftermarket one but trying to make it look original.

A 2 cylinder 35 HP block is totally different from the 2 cylinder 40 HP block.----Will not fit.------Post pictures of the motors or look up the exhaust housing gaskets on the 2 motors to compare.

The only 35s with tilt/trim are the 96 to 2001 triples. If you want power trim and tilt for the 35 twin you will need to buy the after market kit.

I've put a few of the aftermarket kits on and they work really good.
