1990 evinrude 70 hp not pumping thru pee tube

When I back the boat into the waterand start it water pumps out the 2 spots below the engine real good but nothing is coming out of the pee tube as it always did before, is there a thermostat that has to open? does the peetube water come off the cylinder head? If its plugged how do you clean it? or do I need a water pump? thanx

It should **** out straight away.
Poke a wire up it while its running, sometimes insects crawl up there and block it

Comes off the exhaust plate unless someones changed it

it bypasses thermos so thats not an issue. Probably clogged

From the factory the tube came from low on the exhaust manifold.----Now there was a factory service bulletin ( 1994 ) to move it to the top of the block.-Amazing how many of these motors have not had that done.

Where ever it's located it still should **** good. Clean out the line and the fitting on the block.

Yep it was clogged right at the plastic part on the end thanx
