96 Evinrude 130HP ground cable question

Hi,

I noticed the ground cable between my powerhead to bottom drive midsection has fatigued and no longer serviceable.

Is it critical i fix it now or can i continue to use my outboard?

Fix it now, it was put there for a reason. Most likely anti-corrosion.

Fix it now because a bad ground can completely destroy an ignition system

I don't think that wire will destroy the ignition system.

That one probably won't but it would make check the others as well.
