I purchased a boat with a 25hp Evinrude and it has a slight bend in the prop shaft. The motor still run really good, but I am concerned about it and I want to replace the shaft. I am going to order the shaft and seal kit this week, and I need to know how difficult it is to replace it and what tools I may need. I am mechanically inclined and fix things constantly, but I have never performed this task and want to make sure I follow the steps. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also, where is a good place to download the manual?
