Pulled the plugs on starboard side of motor no difference in rpm change when motor running, already bought my power pack. My question is could the motor not firing on that side cause the fuel pump to not work were I have to keep squeezing the bulb to keep the engine running or do you think the pump itself i bad? Thanks

If you have to keep pumping the primer bulb, I'd have to say the pump is bad.

First check for air leaks into fuel line. That will keep fuel from properly pumping into motor.

It fixed the fire issue, I have new fuel pump to install tomorrow. I believe the fuel issue is cause of bad vro, my no oil alarm is going off right before the motor stalls. Ill update tomorrow after install.

Be sure to run 50:1 premix in your fuel until you get the problem straightened out.

Installed the new vro same issue as before, made sure no air leaks from tank to motor, any idea of what today next?

Take it back to where you got it from and get another one. I've seen new ones right out of the box being bad.

A buddy is coming over tomorrow to help me out with, as for the vro I'm going to call tomorrow and ask.them to send me a replacement vro. It was orsered online. Ill try to upload some pictures were I saw it leaking from tomorrow morning. We're going to start from scratch with test from an external tank etc.

Ok here's where we got today, hooked up to an external tank same issue. My buddy noticed the voltage meter bouncing around change the connections on the battery from the stainless steel to the lead and used terminal clamps, voltage nonlonger jumping around but problem didn't change after some more messing around he noticed that the block is getting hotter on the right side verse left side the rectifier was extremely hot he thinks its a electrical problem from either the stater or rectifier is sending wrong amount of volts causing engine to get hot shut down. Does that sound probable to you?

Re: 2000 115 power pack

No new vro yet, I still believe its a pump issue but he's reassuring me his motor was doing the same thing and the rectifier/stater fixed the problem. I also realized that I had accidentally out 4 stroke oil in the vro reservoir which he said was a big no no.

Has your Buddy got a multi-meter with a DVA adapter ?? If not he's just guessing.
