Just realized I should have posted this in the nonrepair section, If a MOD wants to move it, go right ahead! thanks!

Just picked up this nice little motor, its a 15hp 2 stroke electric or pull start 15" shaft with very low freshwater hours. When i was a kid I had great experience with a late 80s 15hp that is essentially the same motor as best I can tell, so I was excited to come across this gem. In south FL a clean freshwater motor is very rare!

Information is not that easy to find about this model. Most anything I can find is for much older ones. Also, the wot rpm spec seems to vary from place to place. Basically, I just want to know more information about this engine.... things like the specs (weight, wot rpm, etc), and any other experience with this motor. Any info/experience is appreciated!

Im hoping to find a 14 ft jon boat or maybe a gheenoe to put it on. It came with a 9x11 prop, which seems reasonable for a planing application. I already have a saltwater boat, but really want a jon boat to set up for bass fishing :D
