engine stuck in down position.Tilt trim motor fried, pressure relief valve broken. Have removed the 6 assemnbly bolts bot can only raise the engine about 6 inches manually.
Any help would be appreciated.
Engine is 1986.
Pressure relief valve head broke off.
I'm going to replace the whole tilt trim assembly,so i was wondering if i drilled into top and bottom of main hydraulic cylinder if that would relieve pressure.Think the only other way is to cut the main cylinder piston.
Advise appreciated TY Neal
I have a 90 HP 1988 Evinrude. Batteries all charged up. When I try to raise the motor with the switch on the throttle handle all I hear is a slight clicking noise. Motor does not move. Can you give me some advice how to fix?
