1981 2 stroke 70 hp evinrude

On the back of the motor which cable is the cable for the throttle. I replaces both cables and really dont know much about motors but did it myself to save money. Also How do I adjust the idle now as when installed its idleing super high now

Lift up your warm up lever on the control and see which cable moves. That's the throttle cable. Then adjust the trunion on it back on the motor (with control in neutral) so the cable brings the throttle linkage back to it's stop.
