Which Evinrude 115 1999 injectors?

Engine: Evinrude 115 ficht 1999 (E115FPXEEC)

I have my engine into a very reputable mechanic. I need new injectors. Every site online states that I need injectors 5000770 however the mechanic insists I need 5004477. I know these injectors had a lot of trouble, including fire hazard, anybody know why there is a discrepancy in the numbers?

Also, will 5000770 work?

Your reputable mechanic probably has service bullitens which give the alternate number for a reason. The online sites probably don't have that information, simply the number given in the original parts breakdown.

Chances are you do not have to buy new injectors. They can be rebuilt and recalibrated for a lot less money by dfitechnologies.com

Might be just a superceded part number you guy found on his parts lookup and you did not.

Thanks, turns out the injectors are completely obsolete and I called all over looking for them with no luck. I will look into the recommendation by Faztbullet though.
