2000 evinrude 15 hp 4 stroke blew power pack. replaced with new oem part and it blew again after just 5 hrs of use. Whats up with that? These things aint cheap either!
check the ground connections too on the block for the coils and the pack clean them with sand paper until they are shiny a bad ground can feed the coil voltage back though the pack to find the ground and this will burn them up every time ...
