1994 25 HP Evinrude Starter install

I have a 1996 or 97 25 hp that died. I bought a 1994 to replace it. I want to put the starter from the old one on the 1994 and I don't know how to wire it. Also, there are three holes on the front of the one that died and only two on front of the 1994. Help please. I miss fishing.

Bolt it on and check it is in the right place.
If it is then hook the main big cable from the solenoid to it. The neg is provided by its contact to the engine.
