1993 2 cyl evinrude no power out of the hole

idles & starts good and runs well at wot, but takes 40 seconds or so to get there, already cleaned the carbs any suggestions anyone? it's a 50 hp

Have you done anything other than cleaning the carbs?
Boat trimed properly?
Has it always done this?
Have you installed the engine on a different boat?

the motor worked normally before (same boat)
it started with an ignition problem (would not go above 2500 rpm) I replaced the stator and ignition coil, I'm getting the rpm now at wot but it's real sluggish getting there, something isn't right

thanks for your input Admiral, I found the problem carb linkage was out of adjustment (not engaging properly with throttle cam) so timing would advance without enough air until wot...thanks again for your time
