Was wondering where I can find the tachometer pulse value for my Johnson J100STLCEM (1989, 100Hp)

The RECTIFIER & REGULATOR part number is: 0583529
Possible newer version part number: 0584204

What unit are the pulses in. For example, 6 pulses per second or millisecond, etc...?

Don't have a clue but that tachometer coupled with the engine you mention demands a setting of #6.

I think this has to do with the stator poles.
