The power trim unit worked very well on this motor until recently. Not sure why or how, but I even pulled the battery out of my truck just to make sure it wasn't low voltage. Is there something fried inside the pump? I've heard of some of these outboards having a circuit breaker but I couldn't find one. I have excellent ground but motor doesn't go up or down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check the small 20A fuse in the trim system wiring?

If the fuse is good you could have a bad t/t mtr. Give it a couple raps with a small hammer.

When you hit the trim switch do you here the solenoid clicking. undo the plug from the trim tilt motor and run 12 volts to the the green or blue wire that go to the motor to check and see if it is dead. If you have a power probe use that if not use some alligator clips and jump off the starter.
