Hey Guys just checked out this outboard and checked the compression it has 140 in all three cylinders. Is this a good motor? I see it was made for the salt water but I don't think it was ever in salt water. and does anybody know if it is a 2 stroke or a four stroke engine? Any info on this motor would be helpful thanks

It's a 2 stroke and the compression sounds real good and it's a good motor.

Yes the controls come with it I will be able to unhook everything and take it right off the boat with ease, I also get the fuel tank

For that price you better not mention where it is or you'll get trampled in the rush.LOL.

Run it like you stole it! Good motor and you got a good price on it. Compression numbers are very good. Make sure it gets propped to fit whatever you put it on, .ie the motor is allowed to spin upwards of 5500 RPM at WOT. Lugging it will kill it in short order...

Thanks Guys I already made the deal it is going on my little bayliner capri 14ft so I don't think it will lug at all it is a little bigger than the 50 hp Force I had on there It is only a little heavier about 72 pounds. I guess the force 50 was 150lbs and the Evinrude 75 is about 222lbs
