try the maxrules web site. Motor wiring diaghrams are pretty alike. Find something close to the year and HP (year is most important) and see if it matches.
you are absolutely right....at least to the point of connections....I dont know if the colors changed....up to and including 1995 they used the BIG red plug ends...starting in 1996 they used duetch plug ends ( pig tails) . I just checked my 1995 manual and unfortunately this past summer i left it out in the rain one day....i let it dry and it it seemed fine, but now i try to check the last few pages that have the wiring diagrams and they are stuck together.... I pulled them apart and much of the pages tore and remained on the previous page....but i ll compare the colors to the 1997 manual i have and see if they remained the same
