I do believe the connecting rods have a bushing for the wrist pin. If so you should be using 24:1 in it.

I think because it's a post-'64 motor you can run 50:1, but I err on the side of caution and add a little extra oil. Here's a handy link.

That motor has bearings in the wrist pins. 50:1 is the spec. If the bearings run smoothly at 50:1 more oil does not make them run smoother. When OMC switched to 50:1 from the previous 24:1 there was a massive drop in warranty claims regarding engines damaged by preignition.

The parts breakdown I looked at only shows roller bearings on the crank end, not the wrist pin. I would use 24:1 if that is the case.
