***15 hp evinrude wont go forward or reverse***

[broke boat 93]

I was driving the boat when all of a sudden the propellor hit an oyster reef or somthing very hard under the water. After that it wouldnt go into forward or reverse. I can shift it but it wont do anything. Is it possible that a key could have been sheered where the driveshaft meets the powerhead? Its a 1975 15. Hp evinrude. Modle 15504c

Worst case you could have broken the drive shaft.
