Can't find proper battery for my '72 Johnson 85hp

Hey Everybody,

Where can I buy a non maintenance-free battery for my '72 Johnson 85hp? I've looked around the net and am having trouble finding a store that carries them anymore.

Walley World or Auto-Zone will have marine starting batteries; get one that has the most cranking amps that will fit in your boat. Good luck

Thanks for the response.
I'm specifically looking for a non maintenance free battery. There is a warning note that came with my new power pack not to use maintenance free, or dry cell batteries because they will over time cause power pack (amplifier) failure. Also Joe Reeves warns against it for the same reason.
That's all the convincing I need.

So does anybody know a maintenance free battery at a major retailer ? or even not at a mojor retailer?

I have a non-maintfree battery in my RV. Got it at Wal Mart.
