Evinrude's new 135 E TEC

I am purchasing a new 135 E TEC. The salesman and a former Evinrude employee told me the 135 E TEC and the 150 E TEC are the same exact engines. Some people tell me the 135 is a detuned 150. When I went to the Evinrude web site the guy talking about the virtues of the new 135HO said it puts out 147 horse power. How much horsepower does a 150 produce? One would think a detuned 150 would last longer than a regular 150 due to less stress put on the engine. So going with a 135 instead of the 150 would seem to make sense. Opinions?

The Evinrude website confirms that the new 135HO and 150HO are the same V6 158 cu in engine.
If you go to: 150-HO High Output (H.O.) Engines | Evinrude USA
you can flip-flop between 135 and 150.

I'd go with the 135 hp as I've heard good things about them.
