Is it possiable to have condensation build up in lower gearcase? I have done a pressure test of 5,10,14 pounds no leak down over 24 hours each also did a 5 in vacuum test no leak over a 24 hour period. I'm doing my testing threw the vent plug and did one 14 lb test threw fill hole no leak down over 24 hours any help would be great thanks. Water came out first then oil the oil wasn't milky but had been siting about 2 weeks

You're not gonna' get much condensation out of the little bit of air that's in the gearcase after you fill it and put the plugs in. A few drops, maybe. My thoughts - did you try doing the pressure test while rotating the prop shaft and drive shaft? Also, it's possible you had a bad seal on either the fill plug or vent plug.

I did rotate prop for about 5 to 10 min. During each stage and didn't see a drop in gauge. I guess I will try to turning drive shaft tonight and see what happens.

Also, has the lower water pump seal been changed. It is either a double seal or two seals back to back. Changed the seal on a old Merc years ago and the seal was not right and water pump pressure forces the water into the LU. If I remember right, good LU grease won't absorb the water.
