Hey All,

It's a dual question about Calcium batteries and the crank amps required for the 78 Johnson 115hp.

I'm using two Supercharge Seamaster M70 batteries which are Calcium MF.
Each battery is showing 12.3v on the multimeter.

Being calcium batteries shouldn't the voltage show somewhere around 14.5v?
Does any know the amount of juice left in a calcium by the voltage?

The Johnson wont turn-over. I can see the crank turning but it wont roar into life.
Can someone tell me the crank amps required to start it, and if both batteries were low, in dual mode shouldn't the both combined be enough to turn the engine over?

I'll be charging them later tonight for 12 hours but I'm at work starting to fret about the starter motor etc
The fuel line is secured and the bulb is firm confirming the feed.
