I had posted before that I had the Lark.
I got to looking at the engine and it is a 1963 Big Twin # 40352D.
I need to know if I can use a simplex shifter with this model?
Also can i use a starter button and kill switch as I do not have a junction box.

Thanks

Yes, the Simplex (or Johnson Ship Master) is the proper control for that motor. And yes you can rig up a button start if you want to. But you still have to put a starter solenoid somewhere.

There should be a mounting spot for the solenoid in front starboard corner of the lower cowl. I don't recall a junction box on my dads 63 electramatic
