Would anyone know what size diameter and thread pitch the prop nut is for this motor? I'd like to be able to just buy a nut and drill a hole through it rather than spend 30.00 on a new prop nut.

Can't help you on the thread size, but if you have a hard ware store close, get a couple of different sized castle nuts and try them. You will not have to drill a hole if you use a castle nut. You should use a stainless steel one if you find the correct size.

I was going to offer you a "real" prop nut, but I guess you don't need it now.

I would much rather have a 'real' one. How much, and where to send you the money?
