Float Specs 1984 Johnson 25 HP

Does anyone have the measurements for a Johnson 25 J25ECUA 1984 outboard. I just installed the kit but I forgot to get the float setting when I picked it up.

Capt... forget the measurements and the gauges, set the float as follows.

(Carburetor Float Setting)
(J. Reeves)

With the carburetor body held upside down, the float being viewed from the side, adjust the float so that the free end of the float (the end opposite the hinge pin) is ever so slightly higher (just ever so slightly off level) than the other end. And when viewed from the end, make sure it is not cocked.

And your float drop should be 1 1/8 " measured from the carb body to the top on the float in an upright position at the very end of the float.

Does this also apply to a 1983 25 hp float valve?
