115 johnson Water pump, mallory dont match.

I just received my water pump through the mail, and have discovered that my housing (that I didn't think I needed to replace) is somewhat smaller than the Mallory that I thought was "just better quality". Its the ONLY thing that I didn't order with the kit! Anybody know if I can still use the impeller from the kit, or am I going to have to put the old one back in till I get a Mallory housing? The size of the impeller is very very close to the same size. Its a 85 model 115:blue:.

Decided to just order a housing to go with. Problem solved. I'll save the new pump for next time.....
