Tiller extension for 1972 Johnson 4hp?

Looking for ideas for a tiller extinsion for my 1972 Johnson 4hp engine. It has a bar handle instead of a rounded handle. Anybody have any good extentions they've made for this little motor?

I have seen a piece of metal that matches the orginal tiller handle drilled and bolted to the orginal handle.
