1970 Johnson 1.5hp 1R70R Magneto Problem & Need Motor Cover

I'm trying to restore a 1970 Johnson aka Evenrude 1.5 hp outboard. Having difficult getting the magneto to come off the top of the engine. Can anyone give me instructions on how to remove it?

Also the motor cover is cracked and I could use a new one if someone has one they are willing to sell, or point me in the right direction. If you are parting out a 1.5 hp johnson outboard let me know.

Look under the mag plate and you will see a friction adjusting screw. You have to completely remove the screw, then the plate will lift off.
