please help 30 hp johnson key switch

I have a 1989 30 hp johnson that I just bought and the person that I bought it off of cut the wires that go to the key switch and lost the key switch I bought a new key switch but dont know what wire hooks to what on the back of the key switch could someone please tell me what color wire hooks to what connector on the back of the key switch I will order a book as soon as i can and THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP

I really can't help you with the wiring diagram but if you will post the model number of the motor from the plate on the transom bracket some of the gurus with years of experience will be able to fix you up. Good luck

On the back of the switch.
purple/white =C
red/yellow=S
black/yellow=M
red/purple=B
black=M
purple=A

got it to start and run but cant get it to shut off any suggestions

my wire colors are (red) (black) (yellow and red) (purple and white) (black and yellow) (grey) key switch has the letters (m) (m) (b) (c) (I) (s) I got it to start and run but cant shut it off don't mean to sound stupid but I am stumped any help would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance

Got it the yellow and black wire on the motor was broke thank you all
